Pastor Dane D. Clark was born to Mr. & Mrs. Dallas Clark on May 23, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio.

Pastor Clark accepted the word of God and was baptized in Jesus' name on November 14, 1976. He received the Holy Spirit at Rehoboth Temple Church (Columbus, OH) on February 20, 1977. Pastor Clark was new to the church world, but his intense desire to know more about God propelled him into a lifestyle of study, devotion, and servitude. Pastor Clark was soon called to the ministry, and has since become a licensed minister and an ordained elder.

At the request his aunt & uncle, Pastor Clark started a house-to-house bible study class in 1981. God richly blessed the bible study group and it soon outgrew the rotating class concept, so Pastor Clark offered his home as the fixed site. God's Spirit was manifested through Pastor Clark, and as a result of his teachings many were baptized for the remission of sins and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Clark soon realized that God was leading him into pastoral ministry. After much prayer and fasting, he received and accepted the pastoral call in his spirit. He and his family stepped out on faith to start Bethel Temple Apostolic Church in 1983.

In January of 2003, Pastor Clark's life underwent a supernatural shift that coincided with his departure from the workforce and entrance into full-time ministry. God has filled him with vision and has given him a word that has expanded the impact and influence of his life and that of the local congregation. Pastor Clark will continue to ride the holy momentum of the Spirit to establish the work of Bethel Temple Ministries firmly in the Southfield Community and to take the Kingdom message to the nations.

Pastor Clark is married to Lisa M. Simmons, his loving and devoted companion of over 30 years. He is the father of three children, Troy, Dana (Patrick) and Jelisa, and the grandfather of four. He was educated in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Clark retired from Sears/IBM in December 2002 after over 30 years of service.
