Description
The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to be an umbrella for all women of
the church, both single and married. It helps women grow spiritually by the
teaching of the Word of God. It will not only encourages women, but families
and marriages will be benefited as well. The Women's Ministry will be solely
based upon the Word of God.
The Women's Ministry is a ministry of encouragement, guidance and support. It is a
ministry of healing. Seeing women mature in their personal lives and grow
deeper in their relationship with God. Will identify specific needs of the
women and provide solid biblical teaching. This is accomplished by
identifying specific needs that women face on a daily basis, and providing
solid biblical teaching to address those needs. We also sponsor and attend
seminars and retreats that add to the solid foundation of our walk with God.
Who We Are - An Affirmation
We are women, women of God created in his image. We are black, white and
yellow, we are women of all color and races, but yet one in the Spirit. We
are strong, mighty, courageous, willing, desiring women. Women of strength
and power. We are women of faith. Women of femininity. We are women of
destiny and purpose and we will fulfill this great plan of God for our
lives. We are a sister, a daughter, a mother, someone's grandmother, the
wife to our husband. We are a friend in time of need. We will be women that
will build the old waste places, raise up the foundations of many
generations, and shall be called the repairers of the breach, the restorers
of paths to dwell in (Isaiah 58:12). - Written by First Lady Lisa Clark
The Woman's Prayer
Lord, thank you for creating me just as I am
- a complex and incredible woman.
Forgive me for the times I have allowed myself to forget
who I am and why I was created.
Create in me the heart of a woman as you ordained it to be.
Restore to me the joy of my femininity.
Impart a spirit of excellence in me that I might be a force in my home,
in my church, in my community, and in my world.
Help my hands to always heal, my arms to always comfort,
my spirit to always nurture, and my words to always edify,
and my nature to always serve.
Let my presence always be an oasis for those who gather in my shade.
Teach me to utter praise. Grant me the true heart of a true worshipper.
Heal the broken places within me and sever me from my past afflictions.
Renew my mind and liberate my soul to rise again in spite of all past
hindrances.
Instruct me in the way of Your Word, that I might be a woman,
the sister, the mother, the wife, and the influence you've called me to be.
Help me to remember at all times that all I do and all I say is ultimately
for your glory.
In Jesus' Name, Amen (It is so!)
A Word for this Season, this Hour and this Time
By Lisa M. Clark, First Lady of Bethel Temple
As we move into another year by the grace of God, it will be a new
error of time like nothing we have ever seen. Next year, 2006, is a new
season of life that will bring to many lives a spirit of maturity,
responsibility, accountability, and credibility for all that we have sown in
the spirit, according to the purpose and plan of God for our lives. To
fulfill all of these important elements in our lives is to know him,
(Christ), in every manner of our life. Philippians 3:10 states, “That
I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his
sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” For us to walk
out the fullness of God’s plan for our lives, we must desire to be full of
His spirit in righteousness, holiness and in conduct that is displayed in
our entire life style.
Whether people realize it or not, this is our season, our time;
time for the body of Christ to be an example like never before in the earth.
Examples displaying lives that show credibility to the Kingdom of God. Many
lives have been unacceptable to the Lord, and that has to change, now! I
encourage you to “Present your body a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed
to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye
may proved what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God,”
(Romans 12:1,2). Not being ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the
Jew first and also to the Greek. “We must study to show our selves
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth,” (II Timothy 2:15).
As we conform to the Word of God and allow it to become flesh in
our lives, then we become credible and valuable to the Kingdom of God. Our
lives become a powerful testimony to the Glory of God that cannot be broken
or brought down because of position in the Kingdom of God. As we walk in
obedience and become ‘the church,’ not in a building, but in body, then we
become credible in our talk, walk appearance and productivity in everything
God has entrusted us with. He entrust us with an earthly assignment that
will bring an Eternal weight of Glory to Him.
As God allows you to transition from 2005, remember, this is
your Season, our Season to show up and show out for the Kingdom of our
Heavenly Father. Let it not be vein, and let someone see in you, the
manifestation of the Kingdom of God in 2006.
Lisa M Clark is the First Lady of Bethel Temple Church, 2840
Lockbourne Rd., where she sits under the leadership of her husband and
Pastor, Elder Dane D. Clark Together they have been in the ministry for over
23 years and have impacted the lives of hundreds for the advancing of God’s
Kingdom. In 2006, it is anticipated that God will take them to greater
heights and intensify the impact that they have on the Kingdom of darkness,
advancing the Kingdom of light.
