General Description
The Connection Youth Ministry includes both the spiritual and natural aspects in the nurturing and development of youth for Kingdom purpose. Through teaching, empowerment, and divine impartation the young people are released into divine destiny and purpose serving as active participants in the Kingdom of God.

Yearly Events
Each year the Youth Ministry sponsors the following events: Red, White and Bethel (July), the Back to School Rally (August), Youth Explosion (September), and Kidz Night (October).

Red, White and Bethel is a family picnic-style event scheduled around the 4th of July holiday in which Bethel Temple and the community come together for food and lots of fun.

The Back to School Rally is designed to give children a boost prior to the start of the school year by providing educational activities, motivational speakers, and a school supply giveaway. Note: the 2005 Back to School Rally will not take place due to Bethel Temple's involvement in Jammin' Against the Darkness.

The Youth Explosion is an event where the youth are given center stage to demonstrate their artistic talents and gifts. The event features Bethel Temple youth, young people from throughout Central Ohio, and professional groups. Past performances highlighted talented youth demonstrating their abilities by rapping, singing, praise dancing, mime dancing, skits, stepping.

Kidz Night is a Christian alternative to Halloween in which the children come together for games, activities, contests, food, and of course...candy!
