Meetings are scheduled for 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 12:00-2:00 PM. Please check the calendar each month to verify meeting date, time and location.

Description
The Girls of Excellence (GOE) is focused on developing young ladies into Women for Christ by promoting the spirit of excellence through practical application of the Word of God. Meetings abandon the traditional classroom approach in favor of an open discussion and interaction-centered model. This tends to excite the girls, encourage participation, and make the meetings flexible enough to address the current and pressing needs of the girls. Meeting activities are specifically selected for their appeal to young ladies (e.g., “girl stuff”) and their connection to the meeting theme.

Past Events
Themes of past GOE meetings include: protecting purity in modern times, positive/negative peer pressure and messages conveyed by the clothes we wear. GOE enrichment activities have included: prize drawings, a slumber party, roller skating, outing to Magic Mountain, and attending a gospel rap concert.
